Dressing My Man of Syle with #Sears

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client. But all opinions about Sears are mine. This girl don’t lie!

I love to shop. And affordable fashion is important in our house. But getting paid to shop? I mean, that is just a dream come true! But when Sears gave me the opportunity to shop for my man of style for Father’s Day, I jumped at the chance to surprise my man with a new outfit!

Joseph has always been pretty fashionable. I used to even tease him in college for being more self-aware than I was! But, I gotta give it to him, its nice to have a man who likes how he looks. I don’t have to worry about much fuss when it comes time for family pics, holidays, or even date nights. He pretty much always looks good. Although, I may be a bit biased. ;)

This week I went to Sears to shop for him using my Shop Your Way account. You can get rewards for where you shop! I was able to research products and sales at Sears easily and earned $4 for my purchase! That makes this even more so an affordable fashion! I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about shopping at a department store. They tend to be crowded with racks and displays, and the staff haven’t been too friendly, in my opinion.

The positive about this trip was the outfit. I really LOVE the color and the layers. I saw a button up tee with an undershirt on a mannequin and really liked the look, so I wanted to replicate it for Joseph. He really likes button down t-shirts, so this was a perfect fit! I chose the bright blue/aqua color because it is so summery (looks like cool pool water!) and it is one of my favorite colors. I also chose the cargo shorts because they remind me of how my husband used to dress in college. ;) Because I think its a sexy look. Just gotta be honest. :) And even though the amount of choices was overwhelming, I was impressed with Sears fashion. There were some good finds.

When I showed him the outfit, he loved it! I kind of had to talk him into the shorts though because he usually wears basketball shorts nowadays. But when I got him in the outfit and to the park for pictures, he loved it. And I was excited that I was able to get something nice for my man. :)

Thanks to Sears and Shop Your Way for this opportunity! You can see more of my shopping trip on Google + here.
