So sorry that it has been so long since I posted!! I didn’t get my computer unpacked until today!
In case you didn’t know, this past weekend, my family moved to our home state of Arizona. We had been away for 16 months living in Texas. Through lots of prayer, talking, and um…more prayer, we made the decision to move back to Arizona. With baby #2 on the way, it wasn’t really a hard decision, but the process has taken a little while ;)
Saturday evening, I flew home with my 2 year old, while my husband, brother-in-law, father-in-law, and mother-in-law all drove our moving truck and car home to Arizona. It was a hard drive for them, and I am so thankful they got home safe! 1,100 miles in a moving truck is not easy!
Like I said, I flew home with Jael; I was so nervous! I have flown with her twice before, but this time, she wasn’t a lap child. And she is verbal and has more needs and can’t just be rocked to sleep for the ride. Oh, and I am 32 weeks pregnant. haha – I was just nervous for the whole trip!
But it turned out really good! Jael watched Tangled on my iPod for the first half of the trip and read books and drew on her MagnaDoodle for the rest of it. She surprised me and everyone else on the plane with her calm and quiet behavior! Yay!! I was so thankful!
I am just really glad to be back home and now starts the *fun* process of searching for a rental home. We are living with some family for a couple weeks while we search, so we’re hoping to find something soon! I hate to interrupt the routine of other people’s homes…but I am glad to be back blogging and chatting with you all! I missed you this past few days! :) Here are some cell phone pics of our flight! :)
First leg of the flight was practically empty – I got a row to myself with Jael!! :)
Little Miss just *loving* the flight. She even said, “Wanna fly MORE!” when we landed!
Our beautiful view. It was raining when we took off, so when we got above the clouds, it was a whole new world!
Little Miss in Az with Papa…that roller backpack saved my sanity!!
Hope your week is going well!
